Biniguy S008 Silo|Boorowa S008 Silo
The S008 silo is probably the smallest concrete silo that can be modelled and takes up a reasonably small model (HO) footprint (345 mm x 185mm). There were 16 of these silos built between 1928 - 1934. They have a storage capacity of 800 tonnes (30,000 bushels). There are 4 main bins of 14' diameter, and there are also 8 smaller bins inside the silo, which allow for the storage of various grains. These silos have a 64' bin height, with a 6" wall thickness.
